Kid’s Valentine Basket Ideas
I like to do a little something for the kids for Valentine’s Day. I usually put together a small basket filled with items that they love. Nothing super fancy, just a little…love. I’ve put together some kid’s valentine basket ideas for you if you need some inspiration.
The basket of goodies can be super simple and does not have to be anything big, especially since we just came off of Christmas. If you’re floor or playroom is anything like ours, it’s filled with toys they just received and are not playing with at the moment. So, I recommend keeping it to small things they love and things that can be used and don’t take up a bunch of space.
Where I Shop
Dollar store, Target (especially the Dollar Spot), Amazon, TJ Max, and Marshall’s are the main places I grab things, but really I grab things anywhere I see something fairly inexpensive that I think the kid’s will love. Remember, the purpose is just a little love basket filled with small tokens.
What I like to include
Usually, I like to include at least a pair of pajamas for them. Even though pajamas are something practical, they’re still a great thing to add. You can do fun prints or keep it a solid classic pajamas. Other staples I include each year is a book and a few items that are candy. This year, I found cute valentine decorative sugar cookie at Target that I’m going to include, a tube of mini M&M’s, and a small box of jelly beans. Lastly, I include one of those small valentine balloons in their basket. Outside of those four things, the rest is up to what I can find! Again, not to sound like a broken record, but think about what you’re child(ren) are in to and go with that!
